Iryna Lebedynska

I am a driven professional with extensive experience in the education sector, having moved to Italy around 2 years ago I have decided to change my career and the first step on this way was completing the Executive Master’s in International Business (MIB) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where I gained cutting-edge insights into international business strategy, finance, and marketing. The program’s flexibility allowed me to balance my studies with my ongoing work, helping me enhance my strategic management skills while continuing to drive business growth. My practical project work focused on business development strategies for museums and art institutions, which guided me to discover a new industry and provided me with hands-on experience in addressing real-world business challenges in an international context. This combination of academic and practical experience has significantly broadened my understanding of global business operations, preparing me for future leadership roles.

Juanita Huertas Gutiérrez

I’m a Colombian student who recently graduated from MIB International Business. With the master I had the opportunity to work with my teammates in a business project “Peuterey Recycle” analyzing and developing a channel strategy for the company. We had the pleasure to meet and work with Alessandro Maria Ferreri, who guide us through the project development with his significant experience in the luxury market at an international level. Afterwards, in the last months of the program I started my internship in Milan at Jacobs Douwe Egberts, where I worked in Marketing analyzing data from the market and driving innovative projects for the brands with cross-functional colleagues. This enriching experience involved collaborating with colleagues overseas bringing different perspectives into the projects. Grateful that I have joined the master where I developed my career in an international environment, the following allowed me to broaden my perspective in the workplace and as part of the university experience I made meaningful friends from different countries.

Eusa Silva

I am from Angola, happily married, and blessed with two beautiful children. I decided to begin my journey at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where I pursued a Master’s degree in International Business. During this program, I developed a business plan titled “Bubble Tea & Poke: Introducing a Unique Dining Experience to Angola.” The project focused on establishing a Bubble Tea & Poke house that combines healthy dining options with a vibrant social environment, targeting an underserved market in Luanda, Angola. The idea is not only to introduce a unique culinary experience but also to contribute to local economic growth by creating job opportunities and supporting local suppliers. It was an enriching and inspiring experience, providing me with the skills and confidence to pursue the path to success for my business. Throughout the Master’s program, I had the opportunity to meet individuals with diverse professional backgrounds, each adding valuable knowledge to my life. The staff at the university is highly professional and incredibly friendly, while the professors are always available and eager to clarify any doubts. Many professors have worked or are currently working in the field they teach, which allows them to share their real-world experiences with their students. I am excited to apply everything I’ve learned to make a meaningful impact in my community.

Jana Jovanović

I am from Serbia and recently graduated with a Master’s degree in International Business from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. With an academic background in economics and professional experience in marketing and logistics, I chose this program to broaden my expertise in global business strategy while strengthening my analytical and managerial skills.

One of the most enriching experiences during my studies, alongside academic research, was a team project with Barilla, where we analyzed Key Risk Indicators in the supply chain. This opportunity was particularly valuable as it allowed me to bridge theory with the real challenges faced by multinational companies.

Later, during my internship, I worked independently on a project for one of the world’s largest fast-food chains, conducting research on consumer habits, preferences, and cultural differences. This gave me firsthand insight into how global brands adapt to diverse markets and how consumer behavior can shape effective business strategies.

The Master’s program not only provided me with a strong academic foundation but also gave me the confidence to express myself in a professional environment — through dynamic weekly presentations, collaborative projects, and continuous interaction with international peers. It sharpened my English communication skills and, above all, inspired me to return to my family business with fresh perspectives, valuable knowledge, and the motivation to make a meaningful impact.

Maria Tsanikidou

Originally from Greece, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and recently graduated from the Master in International Business (MIB) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Italy. Moving to Italy two years ago was both a challenge and an opportunity: it allowed me to broaden my career horizons and develop new skills in strategy, finance, and marketing.

During the program, I had the opportunity to work on a consulting project in the food industry, focusing on sustainability and innovation. Our research explored how alternative raw materials, such as carob, can help address global supply chain challenges while supporting the development of more resilient and sustainable business models. This project was a valuable chance to translate academic knowledge into practice, combining strategy, innovation, and international business perspectives.

Beyond the coursework, the Master offered a truly rewarding experience. I was fortunate to collaborate with colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, each bringing unique insights that broadened my own perspective. The faculty, with their combination of academic excellence and real-world expertise, fostered an engaging and supportive learning environment.

The program was both demanding and fulfilling, pushing me to grow while reinforcing my motivation. I am now excited to put these lessons into practice, continue developing my skills, and contribute to building innovative and sustainable solutions in the global business landscape.
